Triton TT55 ME is a two component polymer modified cement based, flexible, protective and waterproof membrane coating. It is suitable for either vertical or horizontal surfaces and ideal for areas which are liable to cracking or deformation on the surface, and can be successfully used at wall/floor junctions. The polymer emulsion additive imparts high adhesion and flexibility along with its own high level of water resistance. It is suitable for the internal and external waterproofing of concrete, sound brickwork and cement based elements of water retaining and water resisting structures such as basements, retaining walls, lift pits, swimming pools, construction joints, underpinning joints, balcony decks, bund linings or terraces etc.
A single component, polymer modified cement “tanking” system for walls and floors, designed to be applied as a waterproof slurry. TT 55 is a highly effective damp proof membrane for brickwork, concrete or any cementitious substrate. Surfaces to be treated with TT55 should be correctly prepared, free from all loose materials and contaminants and be in a sound and solid condition. For application to floors, TT55 should be applied directly to the structural slab. For wall applications, TT55 should be sandwiched between sand/cement render coats. For all TT55 applications, special attention should be given to wall/floor junctions.
A surface applied system which waterproofs and protects concrete in depth. Supplied as a powder which only needs mixing with water before application on: basements/retaining walls, concrete slabs (floor/roof/balcony), construction joints, water retaining structures, swimming pools, reservoirs, sewage treatment plants, channels and potable water tanks. When applied to a concrete surface, the active chemicals combine with the free lime and moisture present in the capillary tract to form insoluble crystals which block capillaries and minor shrinkage cracks to prevent any further water ingress (even under pressure). However the product still allows the passage of water vapour through the structure, allowing the concrete to ‘breathe’. It also protects concrete against seawater, aggressive ground water and certain chemical solutions.
A BBA certified, cementitious, waterproofer supplied ready to mix with clean water to provide a slurry coating that provides protection against active or passive water pressure on concrete and masonry surfaces.
Typical areas of application include foundations, slabs, retaining walls plus drinking water structures.
A one-component, moisture cure polyurethane resin for use as a sealing, priming and binding agent for concrete or cement screed which is to be waterproofed using Triton Fastcoat.
A primer for use with the Triton Fastcoat liquid applied external waterproofing system. A 2-component, water based epoxy resin, it is the best solution as a primer on substrates with moisture content greater than 4%.
Condensation is the most common cause of dampness in buildings and affects properties of all types and ages. In particular it is directly associated with black mould growth. Triton offers a comprehensive range of products to control condensation including passive air vents, extractor fans, heat recovery ventilators and positive pressure units.
A special boron based, brushable and injectable gel for use in high risk areas to treat against dry and wet rot as well as wood destroying insects. Triton Tribor 20 Gel has been designed for use in all timbers at a high risk of damage or decay such as joist ends, purlins, wall plates, cut ends and rafter ends. It leaves no surface residues after treatment, is non-staining and can be over painted in time.
A ready to use dual purpose formulation for use as a wood preservative against wood rotting fungi and insect attack. It contains 10% active ingredient and is applied to timber by brush or spray. It can be used for the treatment of small sectional timber and roof spaces. It is also effective against wood boring insects.
Green roofs can be grown on any pitch of roof, even vertical walls, however those with a pitch of more than 9.5° generally have specific design requirements in order to retain the water and substrate across the surface.
Platon P2 Transparent Membrane is a thin polypropylene cavity membrane which has been developed for use over floors or as a wall lining when isolation from dampness or chemical contamination is required.
The overall membrane thickness of 2.5mm means that effective protection can be provided without undue intrusion or disruption to the planned floor or wall layer build-up.
Platon P2 Transparent Membrane can be overlaid with insulation, laminate or engineered timber flooring, particle board, plywood, or screed. Wall fixings are made with regular Platon Brick Plug and Seal.
A heavy duty, deep studded HDPE cavity drain membrane, principally used to waterproof basement floors but of great benefit as a barrier to damp and ground gases in flooring applications.
Triton TM8 / Platon P8 is used as a waterproofing drainage layer applied to the inside face of basement and below ground walls and floors within a drained cavity membrane system. TM8 / P8 is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene and is impermeable to water, water vapour or Radon gas.
TM 20 / P20 is a high capacity drainage membrane recommended for use on all floor applications below ground due to its ability to control free flowing water. The deep stud profile is designed to resist blockages caused by lime deposits.
Triton TM20 / Platon P20 is most often incorporated within the basement floor build-up and can be used above or below suitable closed cell insulation (contact the Technical Department for guidance), to accommodate the requirements for Aquachannel drainage. TM20 / P20 is used in conjunction with Triton Sealing Rope, Overtape and Cornerstrip.
Triton TM8 Plaster Mesh / Platon Plaster Mesh is a double layered cavity drain membrane comprising a studded HDPE layer bonded to an ‘HDPE twist’ mesh layer which forms a key for most common plasters and renders. As with other Triton / Platon membranes, Triton / Platon Mesh can be fixed directly to existing wall finishes without the need for extensive hacking off or preparation.
Triton’s “new generation” DPC formula is a ready to use, water based and water soluble thixotropic gel which diffuses naturally into damp substrates. After injection, Tri-Gel reacts to form a water repellent silicone resin network within the capillaries of the substrate. This network is permeable to water vapour which means that the walls can “breathe” and dry out naturally. The formulation is not reliant on alkalinity for effective curing. Tri-Gel can be used effectively to treat brick, stone and other substrates.
A unique silicone emulsion cream for injection into brickwork etc. for the control of rising dampness. Tri-Cream can be used in all types of masonry without the use of high pressure equipment. The cream is delivered by hand pressure from a simple displacement pump and injector lance into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course.
Triject 3 can be injected into pre-drilled holes formed either in the bricks or the mortar joints to form a continuous barrier against water rising from the ground. Within the walls, Triject 3 reacts with carbon dioxide to form a permanent water repellent coating within the capillaries of the masonry.
A water and salt resistant additive for cement mortars. Improves workability of the mix. Particularly recommended for use in mortars used for internal cement rendering (replastering) of walls affected by rising dampness. Supplied in concentrate form and diluted for use. Supplied in 5 litre and 25 litre containers.
A 3mm polypropylene cavity drain membrane suitable for direct plastering. Suitable for use as an isolating plaster membrane following remedial treatments.
