Triton Titan Tank
A self-adhesive membrane designed for gas-proofing and waterproofing/tanking of underground structures where harmful ground gases are anticipated.
Type A waterproofing comprises various categories of ‘barrier’ system, designed to be applied to the concrete or masonry structure. This section covers Fully Bonded Sheet Systems, but other Type A Systems available from Triton include Liquid Applied and Cementitious.
Our Type A systems include:
These fully bonded membranes are typically used in basement waterproofing as well as to waterproof foundations, roofs, lift shafts and lift pits, balconies and other below ground structures such as car parks.
A self-adhesive membrane designed for gas-proofing and waterproofing/tanking of underground structures where harmful ground gases are anticipated.
Titanbond is a pre-applied, fully bonded waterproofing membrane, designed for use in underground structures where harmful gases are present or anticipated.
Triton Hydrolock, when used with properly designed concrete, can be used as fully bonded Type A waterproofing protection as defined in BS 8102: 2009 for the waterproofing of new structures.
Being water and vapour resistant, TWS-EX100 has many waterproofing applications including foundations, basements, roofs and decks, lift shafts and pits, car parks, subways, bathrooms and balconies. A unique feature is its selvedge that enables a fast and secure seal on all side edge laps.
TWS-EX100GM is a highly efficient waterproofing membrane which also acts as a barrier to Radon, Methane, Carbon Dioxide and other ground gases and contaminants. The self adhesive membrane uses aluminium as the primary barrier, which is reinforced and protected by a laminated film of biaxually oriented HDPE film to one side and a robust bitumen rubber to the other. A selvedge of bitumen rubber facilitates easier lap seals.
Triton supplies a full range of ancillary products for the installation of fully bonded sheet (Type A) waterproofing systems. This range includes primers, reinforcing tapes and a cement based sealing product.
