Basement waterproofing specialists and Triton approved contractors, AP Gooch, have used Platon P8 cavity drain membrane, supplied by Triton, to waterproof a Victorian day shelter at Southend on Sea.
The Victorian day shelter at Southend on Sea
AP Gooch won the contract to design and install the waterproofing system using the Platon 8mm membrane to the walls and floor, with any water ingressing the shelter being carried away via Triton’s perimeter drainage – Aqua Chanel – to natural drainage.

A restaurant and ice cream parlour have been created inside the previously cold, damp and unused space.
